ABOUT MY PROCESS
work
Laura is a creative photographer whose work explores everyday nature, the ordinary and daily objects through colour, shape and memory.
In her practice, she plays with advertising aesthetics to apply the glossiness, lighting and colour as an inspiration to bring photography beyond the depiction of reality to a more playful medium that communicates about our times.
She enjoys creating vibrant still lifes with found objects, fruits, flowers and food containers that tell a story about our
pop-culture and traditions.
Most of Laura's work is photographed in 35/120mm colour film, which she then develops and scans. The colours, noise and softness are authentic traits of the medium.
